Who/where makes a decent ladder sight to put on my new Jap '92?
Browning or Winchester hasn't contracted a new run for a couple years.
Here is a copy:

I think they are all the same Red River Sight company sight.
Buffalo Arms is "Temporarily" out of stock too !
They certainly will dress up a gun!!!
Thanks, I saw that already but they don't have any in stock.
Try a Uberti distributor.
Midwest Gunworks has the ladder sight for the Browning 1886 saddle ring carbine in stock. I bet it's the same one as the ones on the new 92. The folks at MGW have always been very knowledgeable and helpful, I bet their tech dept would know for sure if they're the same.
Negative, every source is 'Out of Stock'
I'll find one eventually.
You will! I've always found it ironic that the stuff most folks want is the stuff mfg's make the least. Or just stop making. True with lots of thinks.
I played hell trying to find an adult buttstock for a youth 20ga 870. I could fill up my truck with youth stocks I found.
I might have to go to Gunbroker for the ladder sight.
They were back in stock today so I have one coming my way, thanks!

Thank you too, I ordered one as well!

Gentlemen, Thank You!
I checked a couple days ago and no joy.
Stopped by the 'fire tonight and saw you'd been successful so didn't linger and picked up one for myself.
It's going on a Browning Low Wall 357. I love thtat little rifle but the receiver peeps have more drawbacks than advantages.
Can't wait to try it out.
Well let us hope it's a decent sight
Sight arrived, it's identical to the one Woodie linked in his first post.
It will be a few weeks before I get it on the rifle.
I checked on UPS and mine should arrive tommorow. I'll put mine on in a day or so...but...getting out to shoot it might be another thing. I have some lead 215 grain loads I want to play with.
We just began a kitchen remodel on Monday, so the house is obviously in complete chaos. If I can find my punch, I might change it out this weekend and shoot it.
So Scott????
How did this turn out??? Have you had a chance to hammer on that sight yet?
No, with the entire kitchen remodel this month, the house is a disaster and just too much going on. Once we get everything put back together I'll play with it.

Changed my mind, as I just acquired a 1928 vintage Win 94 in .25-35. The old Browning 92 will have to wait!
For those still interested in a nicely done reproduction ladder rear sight, Dixie gunworks still has them, as I just ordered 3 more.
