Hey guys, I may be picking up a winchester 94XTR in 7-30 Waters and am looking for information on the caliber. Good or bad.
Other then reading a quick article on this round after I looked at the rifle I do not know anything about it.
Any problems taking whitetail with it? what about something bigger?

Great whitetail caliber ! A 30 30 necked down to 7mm. The only problem is finding ammo/components, but cases can be made from 30 30. Another under appreciated levergun caliber. Bring it out hunting and enjoy your venison steaks.
