Has anyone tried out these packs? Look to be laid out well and the frame looks interesting. Just wondering how well they carry weight and overall impressions. Thanks!

I have seen one close up. I think it's very well made and also especially well thought out for different needs.

I am in my own pack search mode trying to decide what to get.

I am leaning toward the Eberlestock pack line. Cabelas doesn't have much but I have tried on the Eberlestock X1

I also like the Badlands line. But back to the Outdoorsmans. Let us know if you buy one and what you think.

I do have an opinion on certain packs. I am not a bid fan of badlands. For a company of that size that did not retool or re-design their products to meet the demand for the hunter that wants to have a light pack is making packs for a midwest hunter that will not be living our of his pack. If you are not going to be backpack hunting then sure. Kifaru is high dollar, put the company knows what you need in a pack. I have looked at the outdoorsman before. I live in Phoenix, I will try to go down to the store and take a look for the both of us and give you a report in the next couple of days.

That is the pack that is used on Meat Eater. I would suggest that you look at the Horn Hunter Full Curl as well. I really like mine and even with the Kifarus no intention of getting rid of mine.
