There will be a free backpack hunt seminar at Capital Sports in Helena, MT on Thursday August 13th @ 6:00 PM.
Presented by Ed T

Learn the essential skills and gear necessary to get away from the crowds in pursuit of that trophy bull, buck or ram. Lots of information on how to lighten your pack as well the best methods for getting your game out.
That sounds interesting - I think I'll try and make it!
Quick reminder about this free seminar.
We will have several new items from Seek-Outside, including packs, Cimmaron, BCS2 and 6 man tipis as well as the Ed T Quick-Bolt stove for people to get a look at.

Thanks and hope to see some of you!
Sounds interesting, I'm planning to be there.
It's my birthday and I have dinner plans with the family otherwise I would come. I have been having lots of fun scouting my mountain goat and the big backpack hunt is just a few weeks away now.
Happy Birthday Dustin! And best of luck on your goat hunt.
Ed,

Thanks for taking the time and effort to share your knowledge and experience. It was good information, and nice to be able to see and handle the different equipment.

Shane
Shane,
It was a pleasure to finally meet you. Thanks for attending.
And another thanks, Ed. I had to leave earlier than I wanted to and didn't get the chance to introduce myself. I will look you up in the store soon - I'm in the process of replacing outdated gear from many years ago and started with a Paradox pack last year. Shelter and sleeping system are next. Your info on pack weight was an eye opener - last solo 2-3 day I did was just over double the weight you mentioned. I obviously have some room for improvement!

Jerry
Jerry,
Looking forward to visiting with you and helping you figure out what will serve you best.
