Thinking hard of picking up one of the 3500 EXO packs. Any experience with EXO packs. Any other I should consider? USA made is important to me along with individual pockets that will work with spotting scope/tripod. Any input is very much appreciated. Looking for a larger day pack with the thought of 2-3 day hunts.

No experience with that one but just FYI both Kifaru and Paradox packs are made in the US and Paradox is less expensive; you may want to check those out if you haven't. Both will work with spotters.

My two boys and I all have the exo 3500 packs, and have been very happy with them, so far using them to pack out deer and elk . Great pocket layout and wonderful folks to deal with. Kifaru is another great one with lots of choices.

I have had the first two generations of the Exo 3500 and they are very nice packs. Steve just came out with the 3rd gen K2 titanium frame with larger tubing in the frame and a better belt and 1" straps on the shoulder harness with a 2000 cu in bag that is perfect for day hunting and can be extended for overnite. I really like the K2 with the 2000 bag. Used it this weekend on an animalope hunt in Wyo and have used it bow hunting a few days here in Colo. I have used Kifaru for years and have the new UL frame which is also nice. Both are great packs IMHO.

+1
Can't go wrong with either.

I used Kifaru for years before they started actually adding some organization features like the current models. I decided to give Exo a try and I've been happy with it. (I don't/can't carry 100lb loads so no input there with either).

Although I try to drop my pack before any encounter, I shoot my bows (trad and compound) better with the Exo. Maybe due to narrower shoulder straps.

Widowshooter on the Kifaru Forum has an Exo 3500, it's a dang nice pack. Great design for hauling meat, the pack bag can sandwich your meat between it and the frame, keeping your heavy stuff close where it should be.

I've got several Kifaru packs too, (Made in Colorado) and they're all good at going from daypack to hauling meat, and hauling gear if you have the capacity or pockets squared away.
