Starsky and I went on a Colorado safari for a few days. Good times, a couple laughs here and there and some tasty vittles for the freezer. Our backs and feet are a little sore but that's part of the fun.

starsky let me pull the trigger this year, which was nice...

And then he whacked a nice elk...

Backpack hunting in my home state is about as good as it gets for me.

Nice buck, and nice bull, congrats! How'd you all find that bull in that timber, looks thick in there? PS, that sumbitch looks huuuuge.

Great job by both of you, now tell us about the packout. Those are 2 large bodied critters. The Elk and Deer are pretty big too.

I'd not advertise that unless I had a tag. Inference is that one might not have owned the tag>.
Great job! Looks like the big boys are still up high!
That buck looks like he's got some mass.

Nice.

Yeah, we're both stupid enough to advertise on a forum that the CPW patrols that we're sharing tags.
Was that bull a hoss or is Tuner just a good photographer?

There ya go, posting pictures of illegally taken game. The mandatory 500 inches of fluorescent orange is missing and the scope looks like it had a laser dot sight on it at one time.

Good grief, what else can someone find wrong with a terrific hunting trip? Enjoy that backcountry while your legs and lungs are still good!

Nothing better than getting out there in that country. Enjoyed hearing their stories and helping pack the bull.

Pretty average sized, IMO. We were both very glad that 30338 decided to lend a helping pair of legs to get it out.

His deer had one of the biggest bodies I've ever seen, though that's hard to see in the picture with both of us behind it.
Yeah, Tanner's big butt blocks it out, even from behind.

Like 8 foot or something. He is bringing his own tent next time.

It appears that could be the case. I'd hate for me to have to keep up with his stride length.

That buck is heavy dude!

Good job on that bull Starsky.
A pair of fine trophies, you guys did pretty well.

Great buck!

You guys are living the dream.

Well done!
