Looking to ship off my slide to have an optic mount milled. I've seen prices all over the board. Don't need anything fancy. Willing to pay for quality work. Any recommendations?
I'd just buy an mos model before going that route, I have a Glock 19 G5 that isn't cut, ordered the smaller/compact cut 48 just for the Holosun and will get the cut Glock 17 G5 for same .....way, way before I'd pay someone to cut into one
https://chpws.com/Get it cut so that it is in front of your rear sight. They will mill the rear sight out if you don’t specify. Holosun 507k mounted directly to the slide and you can still use your factory sights. They are real low in the window but serviceable if needed.

That's the plan, always good to have a backup in case the widget with a battery decides to take a dump. Thanks for the recommendation.
Palmetto State Armory has introduced their Mico Dagger. It is essentially a Glock 43X clone. They sell slide assemblies that are compatible with the Glock 43X. Myself, I would just buy a cut slide from PSA, and go.

My Glock 40 MOS was ready for a dot sight. I installed Trijicon suppressor heights sights that co witness perfectly with the Trijicon RMR dot.

https://palmettostatearmory.com/dagger-micro.htmlI agree. The only slide I've had cut was on a pistol that had no other precut option. Galloway did a perfect job on it, but you can't beat a deal like this....

Yeah that's a lot of bang for the buck.
I went with
Jagerwerks, with the nitride refinish. I’m very happy with the work. They currently have a great sale going on.
Battlewerx did my trusty ol G23 for me.
Mill for optic
Re-nitride coat
Ameriglo sights(from Battlewerx)
Installed to co-witness
$250 total. about 6 weeks from start to finish
No complaints here!

https://palmettostatearmory.com/dagger-micro.html+1. Glocks are not worth expensive gunsmithing. To add insult to injury such modifications reduce resale value, so called loose-loose.proposition.
LOL…
$250 isn’t expensive for some
Resale value isn’t a problem if you keep it
I believe you meant “lose-lose” proposition
Seems that’s a wiin-wiin-wiin for soome peeople. 🙃
Also a heck of a deal right now.
