He ded. Made it to 94, that's a pretty good measure of time on Earth. Started off from simpler manufacturing and built a handgun empire.

Legendary design that changed the way pistols are made forever, but Glock himself was a first rate POS.

Classy post.

Didn’t say I disagreed, it just seems petty to piss on the grave of a guy that was ostensibly on our side on the day he died.

Not sure what "our side" is, perhaps you mean pro-gun, conservative, MAGA, etc... I'm not tribal, I don't care if you're pro-gun or what your "tribe" is... if you're a complete douche-bag, I'm gonna call it out... And Gaston Glock was a complete douchebag right up until the day he died. Like MLK said, I strictly make my judgments based on the content of their character.

It would seem you are showing a bit of your character here by your conduct.

I spoke with a very well and universally respected Glock employee yesterday, who has worked for Glock Inc more than 30 years. He spoke very highly of the man. But perhaps you know more than the people who worked directly for Mr. Glock, being so deep in the industry and all.

The manner of your conduct says more about you than it does anything else.

I’ve never heard this. Can you give us some examples of his behavior that back up your opinion?

I've never heard anything bad about Papa Glock, but maybe there's something out there I haven't heard. His wife, Kathrin, has apparently been at odds with the Glock family for years. I suspect they think she's a gold digger. I'm suspicious of any vegan, animal-rights activist, which she is.

I know I bought him at least one Mercedes. lol

Two seminal handgun designs in the last 100+ years: the 1911 and Glock. Imo, everything else is just rehash.

I remember my first Glock in the early 90's and being amazed at it's simplicity, durability and light weight. Still have that pistol - a Gen 2 G19.

You and me, both. As one might guess, I love Glocks. Got a really good deal on a new G26 Gen 5 yesterday. I've got a couple more spare mags, some Pearce magazine grip base pads, an XGrip to adapt a G19 mag to the G26, and some XS DXT2 big-dot express sights inbound.
