Only complaint I have with my Gen5 19. One better than others? Dont want something easy to bump and drop a mag accidentally.
The one with rounded front edge as seem on pre-Gen 5 Glocks. They came with no front slide serrations, Ameriglo night sights. You can buy one and put it on your gun. Glock part #8794.
The Vickers Tactical extended glock mag release was just right in my opinion for a gen 3. Long enough to be easy to manipulate, but not so long as to get accidentally bumped. It's in between the standard size and the OEM extended release.

No experience with the gen 5. But based on the gen 3, I wouldn't hesitate to try it first.

Available at TangoDown.
Left to right (all Gen 3): Glock OEM extended, Vickers Tactical, Glock standard length.

For me, the Vickers Tactical is the Goldilocks.

Another vote for Vickers Tactical…..pretty much perfect!

For gen 3 and back it's Vickers.

He is asking about Gen 5.
One can always buy holster covering mag release like PoLeCraft Kydex IWB or similar. I mentioned this brand because it is < $30 which is what piece of molded plastic should sell for.
