I'm looking for a solution to securely mount a pistol in my shop. I'm thinking kydex and not nylon or leather. Flat on one side to be securely mounted under a shelf or bench. Pistol is a G19.

One of those super strong magnets work too.

The magnet would work. I like loaded guns in holsters though. The Safariland ELS clip system or a Tech Lok screwed to the furniture would work too. You may be able to unclip from your belt and secure it to the furniture too.

I'll check those out. The pistol and holster both will stay in the shop at all times. Looks like they have several options for a base that can be permanently attached and the holster clipped in, which would work.
