People refer to the "11 Gear System" when discussing some of the Springfield 1911 models. What is the "11 Gear System" and does it improve the pistol? Why would someone want a 1911 with the "11 Gear System"? Thanks for your help in advance, Greg.

It's an "11-Gear" (Trade Mark) paddle holster & double magazine pouch for all 1911's.
