My son bought a real nice Security Six .357 Mag 4"
A great shooting gun the trigger is like any nice S & W

But the grips are tiny and the "hump" bites into the web of the thumb with full power loads.

Now? we are trying to find ANY replacement grips for it.
It is a Pre 151 serial number and no one seems to make anything for it.
I can't believe there isn't any custom shop out there that would take on the task.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Herretts Stocks is a good source for older revolvers. No guarantee they'll have what you need, but it's a good start. But also understand, Herrett's are very high quality grips and they're not cheap. If you can afford it, I recommend the Roper style grip; world class.
If I'm not mistaken I still have the pair of target grips that came on the security six I had years ago. I'll check when I get home this afternoon.
Handgun grips are very easy to make.
