Speakng of Ruger's. So I walked into Jason's shop (satolar on site ) here in Tex to pick up my Trijicon scope for my 308. Looked into his glass case and what do I see. One single six, one 45 LC and a 44 mag super black hawk SS. Bad, bad bad. Had to have the single six, with the mag cylinder and the Super black hawk. Have several Ruger pistols, but never the single six or a 44 mag. Happy day.

Have to repractice the posting of pics. sometime.

..walked into a big local shop a few years ago and there were two sets of them on the shelf with all their SAs...asked to see them but knew that I wouldn't pay the price...till I rotated the grips and looked at the price sticker...almost dropped them trying to get the $45.00 a set they wanted for them...

Here's one of mine that I no longer have -- a .500 Linebaugh Super Redhawk.

The only thing my Super Black Hawk needs is a set of nice grips. I'm using a Hogue black rubber grips because they work. I would not mind having a set of grips made just like them.

Nowhere near as cool as most of the Rugers posted, but here's my Redhawk .44M. Hogue Bantam grips and a simple, but dead reliable 2x Simmons.

Likely my favorite custom, a 44 Special I had put together just shy of 10 years ago.

Man Ed, your photos can generate discontentment in a blazin' hurry. That .44spl is absolutely beautiful!

BTW, did that start out as a newer OM, or a Flattop OM?

I just looked to be sure my Super Black Hawk is a New Model with a 5-1/2" barrel and a fluted cylinder. Are all 5-1/2" Super Black Hawks a New Model and have fluted cylinders? For some reason I didn't think so. I don't have the dragoon trigger guard.

Not a Flattop, just an azzload of welding on a 3 Screw that you can see somewhat in the colors. Exactly why welding and bluing is tough to do without seeing it.

Looks just like mine except I put rubber wrap around grips on it. I can't really remember if they are Pachmeyer or Hogue.

My favorite Bisley, a tweaked former 3-screw SBH, with my first results out with it mildly throwing 275 gr WFN's.

I traded this gun, but kept the Eagle Sambar grips just in case I end up with another one.

I traded this .41 but kept the grips.

I have a small pile of Blackhawks there was a time a few years ago my interest was peaked and the price on these was very right.
I have not been shooting them and really they dont apreciate much like some others I was thinking about selling a few and for sure I was not adding to my collection

Than this Friday 11/9 I was on a Michigan forum and I saw this one in 41mag. I love 41 Mag I have none with the 4 5/8 in barrel
This package came with the Galco crossdraw Holster and Rosewood grips and a bit of ammo. It was up from a great Member Chappy (Pastor Scott) so we worked it out
I was thrilled to get it
Thought I would shoot it today but didnt get the chance

I was visiting a close friend whose health is preventing him from doing much hunting anymore. He asked if I had ever found a hunting revolver and when I replied no, he fished this out of a drawer. He had an action job done to it and carried it often. A generous gift that will be with me on my bowhunting and fishing trips.

It is a Hamilton Bowen Nimrod that I bought used from a kind chap in Alaska a number of years ago. Go to Hamilton's website and you can read all about it.

Those are the same kind of grips I have on my 5 1/2" Super Black Hawk. And I have small hands.
