I am looking at doing some trading for this Gun. It's Bnib, Never Fired and Has all Documentation.
Can anyone tell me more. The Owner doesn't know much more than that, it's his Fathers gun and was Aquired from a Friend that owned a Gun Shop years ago.
Are the S&W's 1911 good shooters. The only thing I can compare it to is a Kimber, That's all I have/shot in a 45 Auto
Thanks. Paul

I have been looking and Searching online. I can't find any info on this. Are S&W Special editions any Good to Shoot? What might it Compare to?

If that one was mine, and I wish it WAS, I would replace the grips with ivory then shoot the snot outta it. I would predct it to be a fine shooter. Guns are meant to be fired and carried and used and enjoyed, IMO. No safe queens or primadonna guns for me, thanks very much.
