Anyone have experience with one of these? Thoughts, impressions?

Thanks

I'm thinking Gitem was saying the other day that the Pennsylvania Troopers are getting these. I've handled one, but not shot it.

I've got pretty big mitts, and it felt good to me, but if your hands are smaller, I could see where it wouldn't be as comfortable as the standard P220.

It's not much different than a 226. It's not a true double stack, more like a 1 1/2---10 vs 8 rds.

Feel like the tiny hands guy in the BK commercials. LOL, nice gun, but holding one yesterday, it just did not fit me as well as I would want.

That's funny.

Being a SIG fan I ordered one this spring after shooting a few magazines through a friends at the local indoor range.

When I went to pick it up, my dealer had an older West German P220 that looked hardly used (it came with box, 2- 7 rd. magazines, test target and manual)for $ 625.00 OTD.

I handled both side by side, the 220 just felt better in my hands and it went home to join the two other P220's in the safe.

YMMV

Yep. So far only the Cadets have them. Although a coule of instructers i've spoke with say they really kike them, once they get used to the DA/SA fire controls

Before these, our troopers had Glock 21s, prior that, Glock 37s, and Beretta 96Ds before them
