I have been told that the R51 has both a grip safety AND a hammer blocking safety.

- Is this accurate?

- If it is accurate, how is the hammer blocking safety engaged and disengaged since its hammer is concealed?

- OR is the grip safety, in fact, the hammer blocking safety?

They have the best safety ever placed on a pistol - Remington no longer makes them and has issued a voluntary recall for the ones that left the factory.

That gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling. I just can't wait to trust one with my life.

But, Jeff Quinn said they were "awesome"?

Wait, has he ever NOT said that about a firearm?
