Colt python blued with six inch barrel in 357 mag. Has some holster wear mostly on the muzzle. Also has a lot of little moister spots along with one big spot in the middle of the python stamp on the berral. But I do not believe it is pitted just years of neglect, cylinder inside of the berral is clean. I am looking for a start point on pricing for this. Any help would be appreciated.

That's pitting. I can tell from the pic without even seeing it in person. It decreases the value significantly, even at today's prices. The grips are non-factory Pachmayer's too, further reducing the gun.

Just guessing and going by local prices and what little I've seen on Gunbroker, but the guess is an educated one. The guys paying $2300 for the same model Python want one that is pristine for that price. That's a $1300 gun right now.

If things were back to normal a barely-used Python of the same model and configuration would bring $700 and that one would be worth about half that.
