I'm inquiring about the year 2000 SW production run of the Schofields. Anyone ever see them. I've seen a few but never fooled with one. Looking to add this gun to the collection some day Just looking for info and thought this would be the place to ask

Thanks

I owned one for a couple years. It was a thing of beauty and shot really well. I sold it when my "cowboy phase" ended, but it is one of the few guns I regret having sold. Although I made a few bucks when I sold it, it is undoubtedly worth more than twice as much now as it was then.

I'd like to have one of the Uberti #3's in .44 Russian, complete with the spur trigger guard. But the S&W's will undoubtedly hold their value, in the years to come.

The bad thing is I don't still have either of those. I wish I did. I tried to buy another Schofield just the other day and missed it by a day.
