Anyone out there want to share their opinion on this model. Do they shoot as good as they feel? I was debating which striker fired/polymer pistol to buy when I picked up a CZ 75B. Now I' not sure what to do.
Yes they do. They're great pistols.
Not striker fired (not desired) but just picked up a 75 clone from CDNN, a Tanfoglio Witness PS. Have 200 through it with zero issues. Accurate, good trigger both DA and SA and feels great in the hand. They sell them for $270.
The triggers IMO usually need some work, but quite a few parts are available from Cajun Gun Works or CZ Custom Shop.
Extra mags are fairly expensive. Nice pistols though.
If you want a polymer gun take a look at the P07 and P09 too.

Before the 1911 became all the rage in PPC and IDPA the CZ75 ruled the roost.
With the proper loads my old Springfield P9 (CZ clone) would keep up with my 6 inch Python @ 25 yards all day long.
Do they shoot as well as they feel? Yes. It's an easy-shooting pistol. In fact, it makes me look a better shot than actually am.

…..he did in fact……it has close to the same "feel" of the BHP only is more robust….it was the gun that Dornaus and Dixon modeled the ill fated Bren X on…..although a da/sa auto, it was always designed to be carried cocked and locked (hence the originals have no de-cocking lever)---the double action trigger to soley intended to allow double-strike capability on an inert cartridge.

I have a CZ75B in 40 S&W. I shoot it better than my 40 S&W HP. Very smooth double action right out of the box.
Is the CZ 75B too heavy to use as an occasional carry gun? It appears that they are somewhat heavier than most of the striker fired guns.
By virtue of having a steel frame, they are heavier than a plastic framed gun, but I would not say they are too heavy to use as a carry gun.
wilkes, the CZ75 is very close dimensionally (not shape, but dimensionally) to a gov't 1911. So if you're a big guy like 'Tide (just sayin'), sure, you could carry it IWB with a good holster and good belt and get away with it. But being as not everyone's built that way, steel full-size 1911's aren't popular IWB carry guns.
OWB would be fine. Remember, this gun is a military/LEO sidearm by design. It has a substantial build quality, plus it's a double stack mag, so fill that sucker with 15rds or so, and it's both pistol and bludgeon.
I like mine, (3). If you are wanting to carry and weight is the issue check out the PCR. There is still the double stack, but the weight and size are reduced.
Tri star makes a clone of the PCR that is very well made. C-100 Canik 55. I picked one up about a year ago at very reasonable pricing.
I've got a Springfield P9 in .40 S&W. It's a Tanfoglio CZ 75 clone. Great (but long) DA pull, SA trigger needs tuning. I can't recall ever having any reliability problems with this gun.
Just bought a CZ 2075 Rami in .40 S&W. Sub compact, a bit snappy and the trigger is not what I am used to, 1911A1 and revolvers. It is not at all bad compared to some of the other SA/DA autos I have shot. Just a much longer SA pull than I am used to. Accurate, at least I can keep shots in the black at 10 yards. It is a CCW style and size. All metal and decent sights. The CZ 75 and clones are about the most popular military and police pistol in the world. Well proven and liked.

They come in around 33-34oz, about the same as a Browning Hi Power. Not light, but not real heavy either...sort of a middle weight. There are compact LW versions, and there's sort of a version with a polymer frame that's sized and weighted about the same as a Glock 19.
I love the CZ75, it's a really great pistol.
