Yep, from the factory. The similar K, F, and L-Comps were great ideas ruined by the ports.

I have a standard 3" and it is the best centerfire K-frame S&W ever made...had a second cylinder cut for .38 Super and 9mm and now it's even better...

Any clue how many of these were made?

Not familiar with this one at all. The L-frame .40 is the one on my bucket list.

Pretty sure it came ported. Only 100+ made. Id like it without the ports as well.

Best thing about the 3" K-frames is the full-length ejector rod; makes shucking 357 hulls a lot easier than the truncated rod on my 2.5" K-frame.
