Like it was upon ratification of the 2nd Amendment...

The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms and was adopted on December 15, 1791, as part of the first ten amendments contained in the Bill of Rights.

Yes, and no. In 1791, only white males were considered "people". Technically, those states that currently show as "green" have interpreted the 2A as it should have been all along.

The sooner it all goes green, the better.
Even with Heller, political forces can change things and in not too long of a time. That's why the call is eternal vigilance. It's the one issue I don't trust politicians with on either side of the isle...they've just sold us out too many times. Education is the key, educate THE PEOPLE and the politicians have to follow along. In he past 20 years we have won that war, but we can't rest on our victories because it just takes one defeat to turn the tide.

The battles we MUST win are the Presidency and Congress in 2016 and 2020. The next POTUS will replace Ginsburg and Kennedy in the first four years. The POTUS after 2020 will likely replace Scalia, Alito, and perhaps Roberts and Breyer.

This.
New York, New Jersey, and California will never flip.
Thanks for sharing this should show the politicians what we the people want and the direction they would be prudent to go! Unfortunately a fair percentage of the changes had to be by court ruling after a lawsuit.

Very interesting. There is never an argument against logic.

Just a heads up about the Arkansas law. The current law was passed in an attempt to enable people to carry a loaded gun in their automobile without a concealed carry permit. The way it was written seems to allow open carry, but several people have been arrested for doing so. The Attorney General has stated that He thinks it allows open carry, but until the courts rule, you will be taking a chance in doing so. miles
