Christened the Citadel .45 today.

Got it for a 'beater' tractor gun, and that's where it was. Was shredding a ranch this afternoon and jumped this boar up. He was making his way through brush, and got a 30 yard shot and took it. One round to the neck put him down. He was still blinky, so I finished him with another.



I like this 1911.

My Colt is better, but not a bad pistola.

I just had it stoked with 230gr ball ammo.

Usually, I like my Hydroshoks, but hate wasting the money on snakes and stuff like that, so I had the ball ammo in it.

Will probably switch back to the Hydroshok ammo though... this is S. Texas, and reports of wetbacks abound.

10-4, I like fmj-fp ball ammo, it works on a myriad of projects.
