Purchased a used Sig 220 with factory night sights, a 3.75 inch barrel and one mag at a local gun show today. It is double action only and the condition is very good to excellent. The barrel is dirty but the rest of the gun looks nib. Paid $625. Was that a good deal? Thanks.

That's a fair price.

More than I'd pay, especially for DAO.

No, you got intercoursed. They saw you coming. You paid about $150 too much.

Sorry, but you asked on a forum.

PD trade ins are going for anywhere from 475-595

If that gun is in as good condition as he describes, around here it would be 675 to 750

I gave $489 for each of these 229R's about a month ago. Both are conventional DA/SA and have sweet triggers. The top one is 5-6 MOA (rested shooting) to 100 yards.

LOL, I should hire you as my gun buying agent.

Upon research I've determined that I bought a P220 Carry DAK exactly like this one http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProductDetails/p220-carry-dak.aspx

Just got finished doing a field strip and cleaning. I don't think the previous owner even fired it. There is not a blemish on the pistol.

Maybe it wasn't a great deal, but I feel like I got a lot of gun for the money.

Not great.

Not an ass raping.

Enjoy your Sig.
