Unboxing the Smith and Wesson model 642-1.

LOL. Very nice parody. Where's the like button?

If you want to be a gun forum Youtube unboxing guru, though, you need to stretch it out about another half hour.
Yeah, I made that with a mockery effort. Then I watched an actual 642 unboxing video on youtube and I felt I really did a poor job. Some dude outdid me in dumbness, but he was being serious.

They love them boxes.
They love to talk about all of the wonderful attributes of the packaging and their new gun without knowing if the thing will even work or have satisfactory characteristics when they shoot it. Kinda like the long awaited, FBI torture tested Glock 17M that can't keep the slide where it belongs.

Not an unboxing video, but one of the dumbest ones I ever have seen is a review of the Buffalo Bore Outdoorsman 9mm round that Phil Shoemaker shot the bear with. The only difference is that this guy talks for over 11 minutes and never gets around to testing it, while singing its virtues the whole time. I won't pollute this thread with the actual video embedded, but I will post the URL for it for anybody who really needs to get a life but prefers to waste time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_-wTfCCzXU
Dave's my hero.

Dave
Thanks, boxes are my life.
"I really like boxes."

Lol
Good stuff.
Depends how many times they've been opened.
The end flaps get loose and floppy if they're opened too often or with poor technique.
The first box with the big flaps, reminded me of an old girlfriend.
That accent brings back some memories!

On another note, I prefer to keep my gun in a box as much as possible...
Oh my lord, that accent is funny as hell.
dang a box inside another box

wish I'd have thunk that up.

and agreed Scott, him doing that outrageous you betcha accent was over the top

nobody really talks like that...do they?

First thing that came to mind.... laugh

What accent?

Nice boxes. I like the two-tone.
Just an observation; it would be nice to spend a little more time on re-closing the box as that can get a little hairy sometime.

PS. An apology may be in order here. Maybe I shouldn't use the term "hairy" when referring to boxes.
Incredibly creepy, yet entertaining. Much like a carnival.

Well done ND.
when you took the little box out of the big box, the little box was upside down. easy mistake to make.
You that car salesman dude in Fargo?
Dave can pry open my box any time.

I can't hear you over the sound of the wood chipper.
Wanna get some pancakes?

Now I want roast beef.

The flaps, they gotcha huh?

Every time I listen to that video I can't help but think of the movie Fargo. Did you have flapjacks this morning for breakfast...
No, no, no.

Svedish pannkakor.

Can you post a video with a Nosler box? I think it may benefit someone in Oregon.
Maybe...
I'm still confused that some of you think ND has an accent...

All future films by ND will be silent motion pictures.

I betcha doo.

Cats oudda dah' bage now eh?

Dave
Travis and I have spoke on the phone and I can honestly say, he talks funny.

If you could do that effect where they pixelate areas - like when the news crew films some nude weirdo causing a scene or something.

Just randomly add it to parts of video...
I'm going to pixilate my voice so these guys stop making fun of me.
The desantis sof-tuck is a squeaky Bich. Like an old leather saddle. I should have got the galcos, they are like a floppy suede sock. Quiet.

You could do it like one of those witness protection people or mob bosses being interviewed by 60 Minutes.
Good idea, then I just need to be careful to not say "ufftah" or "yewbetcha".

I posted the wrong link further up the page.

Sonofa...
