2 guns, a 6" regular 657, and a Classic Hunter Full Lug 6.5"

Both scoped with 2x EER M8s.

Which would you run scoped, which irons?

The Lighter std model would carry better scoped....but might use it's lighter weight unscoped and just use the CH carried in a shoulder holster scoped.

No question here...scope belongs on the Hunter....then have the 6" 657 cut down to 5"...

Mine is the unfluted CH. I will try sending a Pm tmrw when I can look.

I thought of cutting that down as you mentioned. Also adding a v rear and gold bead. Red/green color blind and my FS is a black ramp IIRC.

Too bad the 657 was not made like the 5" 610
