Given the serial number I do not believe it is a true "Beckeart" as they are very specific early variants. I own a a very nice non-Beckeart one and gave $600 for it a few years ago at a north Idaho Cabelas.

It is not one of the 1000 or so that was sent to Bekeart, but still a very nice pistol. Gunbroker will show a wide variety, but look for what sold. I would guess $600-$750. Is there a number stamped on the bottom of the stocks? That would be and other variant and add some more value.

6-8 bills is right on for a private sale. if it is clean and original, thats a hell of a 22 for the money.
