1969 colt python
A Broomhandle Mauser or a Luger would be about perfect.
So you got it or you want it?
Would love a legit Colt SAA. Or a very early 1911
It's mine. I got it a few days ago.
Congrats. Love the ivory grips.

Manufactured 1882.
I thought it was an FA 83 41 mag with black grips, a fluted cylinder and a polished trigger and hammer but I already bought it. Then I thought it was an FA 83 44 mag with wood grips, an unfluted cylinder and a polished hammer and trigger but I bought that too. Then I thought it was a Nighthawk Talon blacked out with a Kart barrel. Yep, bought that also. See the problem 😭
I nice SAA Colt in .45 Colt, made after 1900.
Being most of my wants are probably out of reach, I would like a Gen 2 G19.
Found a couple of them, one modern one old. A 1916 22/32 Heavy Frame Target S&W and 357PD in .41 Magnum.
I'd be OK with this one:

That was my very first Glock back in the early 1990s. Wish I never sold it.
John Wayne "THE DUKE" 22 cal Colt
I'd be OK with this one:
That is stellar.
I want the model 4117 Dan Wesson super mag

Oh I see the problem all right. I've been traveling down that road for a few years (Freedom Arms Road), but I don't know the address number so I keep driving looking for it. Let's see, 454/45 Colt, 44 Mag, 357 Mag, and a new little 327 Mag.
Grail gun/bucket list gun? It's the search that's important, not the purchase. The search is paved with a safe full of "that's it".
S&W registered magnum for me. If we’re being picky I’d prefer it to have King’s sights and an S&W grip adapter as well as a humpback hammer. Strangely I don’t have a solid preference on the barrel length, which could have been anywhere from 3.5”-8.75” in .125” increments.
A CGW reworked CZ 75D PCR with a TFX Pro Tru Glow sight set.
I'd be OK with this one:
That is stellar.
Only $8000 at Nighthawk Custom. (But, you could probably pick up a used one for $7500 at a gun show...)
My bucket list handgun is one that I already have. The bucket list part comes in with having it restored by Turnbull. It's my great-great grandfather's Colt SAA (mfg 1887). He was a sheriff in central Texas and it was his sidearm. Normally, I would leave it alone, but my grandfather already had it nickeled about 70 yrs ago. I would like to have Turnbull return it to "as shipped". Someday.....
Spent the last conference call pouring over some Bowen work - I may have to change my list!
Nice custom 1911 GCNM,
First & Third Generation Colt SSA
WWII bring back byf 41 Luger
A little brother to my “hunt’n gun! memtb
All matching Artillery Luger, early Browning Hi-Power...
Being most of my wants are probably out of reach, I would like a Gen 2 G19.

This one was built in 90', i enjoy shooting it very much so.
Bucket List Handguns (that I do not already have):
9mm Luger
P-38
S&W K-22
Walther PPK
maybe one of the new Sigs in .45 ACP?
maybe a S&W .41 Mag?
Don't really NEED any of these, but what does NEED really have to do with this? :-)
Freedom Arms Model 97 5-1/2 " in .32 H&R with a second cylinder chambered for .32-20. Adjustable sights, micarta grips, trigger job, and all of the rest of the goodies. Have two in .41 Mag and .357; this would be the little brother.
A big Linebaugh custom like Whitworth has in 500 JRH, those case colors with beautiful wood grips give me the night sweats!
jbmi, My Father’s cousin (which I never met) came back from WWII with a pair of Lugers with consecutive serial numbers. He got hard - up for drinking money and sold one......years later regretted that decision , or so I was told! memtb
One of my great uncles brought back two Lugers. He gave one to a friend and the other to my father, which I ended up with. Interestingly, all the numbers matched on my gun except for the magazine. When I mentioned that to dad, he said "Yeah, wait just a minute." A short time later he returned with a receipt typed out on a half sheet of watermarked paper from the battalion S-3 of my uncle's infantry battalion, authorizing my uncle's possession saying that "the trophy value of such items exceeds any training, service, or salvage value, that they do not contain any explosives, and the possession thereof is in conformity with regulations, blah blah, theater commander blah blah." Listed on the paper were the serial numbers of the two Lugers. Come to find out, he got the magazines switched around. So if anyone needs 6020's magazine, let me know. Actually, I reckon Luger 6020 is a bucket list gun for me!
A few months ago I did buy one of my bucket list handguns from a member here, a S&W 60-4 .38
S&W 44mag 629-4 mountain gun and a nice shooter S&W 19-5 4”.
And in the next month or so a new carry gun. Either a Glock 43 or a S&W M&P9 SHIELD 2.0 TRITIUM SIGHTS 9MM 3.1”. Leaning hard towards the S&W.
I already have the 45acp in that configuration and it’s a good shooter.
Johnny;
That Python would do for my bucket list handgun!
Had a 6" blued model I but new in 1972.
Sure wish I'd of kept it, but a 4" would be even better!
P.S. LOVE those Ivory grips!
Virgil B.
I've always wanted a custom/semi custom ruger Blackhawk witha short barrel in a caliber that starts with 4.
S&W 16-4
I'm fortunate enough to have purchased all of mine. Of course, new ones I don't now know of could appear.:-)
Ones I have:
FA model 97 Premier grade 22/22mag
Korth .Mongoose 357/9mm
SIG X-5 Target 9mm
Colt NF .45 Colt
Mauser P 08 ca 1936
Colt Python Stainless steel 6"
I do not have a an Alpha 1911, but then I'm not a big 1911 fan. Nighthawk Customs comes to mind as a good one, however...……………….
