……..with FTE. I’ve read plenty on the various mag related FTF issues but I procured one with the 6+” barrel
On it and about every 3-4 shots get an FTE. Using standard velocity ammo as recommended. This is the first one of these I’ve ever shot. I’m enjoying shooting it but need to work out this FTE issue. Any help appreciated.
If it’s not an issue with a really dirty chamber, then a bad/worn extractor would be the next most likely cause. Might also look at the face of the chamber(breech). If some previous owner was dry-firing the heck out of it, they may have done damage (peened it) from excessive firing pin strikes (why folks shouldn’t dry-fire rimfire guns).

Thanks for the insight. I’ll check it out. Much appreciated!
Cleaned the chamber, again, and don’t see any signs of firing pin peening. Moving on to the extractor. This is a 103 model. Are there any quality extractors available for these?

Numrich carries extractors and other parts. Probably a good time to replace the recoil spring, as well, while you have it apart.
Great. Thanks again
