Gunbroker or eBay or Gun Parts Corp?

Jeff
yes, I checked these sites off and on for a while and have come up empty. I need to check again. At this point, a functional stick is all I am looking for; does not have to be pretty.
Hackleback: I am ALWAYS on the lookout for pre-64 Winchester stocks of all types and models.
Over the years (decades actually!) I have come across some VERY profitable gems - for instance I found and bought (for a pittance!) a brand new pre-64 Winchester Model 70 "Bull Gun" stock!
And I found a minty Model 61 Winchester buttstock several years back.
The last old Winchester stock of note I bought was a Model 75 Target stock that was like new.
Having said that it has been a "while" since I saw a Winchester 69 stock for sale by itself (without the accompanying Rifle!) - I will though begin my search for you here in the west and in the Rockies!
I to would direct you to resume the computer search in earnest.
Want-ads may be in order - for something of relatively small value (the 69 stock) you are gonna have to put in some time or buy a lesser condition gun and salvage its stock or just LUCK into one!
The few stocks for your Rifle that were around have pretty much "dried up" (put to use) already!
Theres a big gunshow in Bozeman, Montana in 10 days and one in Hamilton, Montana this weekend - maybe something will show up therein - if so I will get a phone number from the seller for you.
Best of luck to ya in this search.

Hack,

I have a Target 75 stock that will work on your 69A. The barrel channel is target, so if your 69A is target it's a drop in. It even has the stock receiver sight area. This stock has beautiful wood, no scratches or dents or hardware.

I'm into it $145 and will sell it to you for $170 shipped.

Pics by e-mail and my standard sales ethic apply.

I just looked at www.gun-parts.com and on their Winchester stock page a little past half way down they list "semi-finished" stocks for model 69s. Don't know whether that would work for you but maybe worth a look especially if you don't mind putting you own favorite finish on a stock.

IMHO the M69 is a mighty fine rifle and extremely accurate. I've had more than a few over the years and hard pressed to find a better one for the money.

Hope you find your stock.

Gunbroker .com number below $50.00
This is a good condition Winchester Model 68 stock with the original buttplate, bolt that holds barrel, trigger and trigger guard. This is off a model 68 but should also fit a model 67. I am including all the parts so all you have to do is bolt up your barrel. This stock is in great shape for its age. I promise you will not be disappointed. This is off a gun made in the 30's as it has a grooved forend. This stock has no chips.
