A small local gunshop has a Winchester model 270 pump(22 cal.) NIB for $200 bucks.I have looked on some auction gun sites but cannot come up with much price wise.Is this a fair price? Thanks for any info.coobie
If this is the model made in the 1960s, that is a pretty good price.
That was my first ever rimfire and I sold it foolishly 40 years ago.
If you don't buy this one, let me know please.

You did all right.
Something interesting, The infamous 1964 Winchester catalog has the model 250 (lever), 270 (pump), and the 290 (auto-loader) .22s on the cover. I have had a 270 pump since 1965. I actually have the complete set, all in "as new" condition, I have theoriginal catalog too. $200.00 is a very good price for that rifle. Have fun, shoot it a lot!
