I have uncovered a Walther "Meister Busche .22 lang fur Buschen", which is I think, Master Shooter chambered for .22 long rifle. This single shot was produced in the 1930's and is in very good condition, with the exception of a broken stock through the pistol grip, for which a GI probably can be given credit. The stock has been repaired professionally, but some of the checkering has been removed in the process.
I would like any information that may be had and what would be a reasonable estimate of the value? Thanks-Joe

I have one that I had sporterized, and I've seen many more in the condition you describe.
With a broken stock (repaired or not) I would put the value in the $250-300 range. No real collector's value but they are a fun rifle to shoot and most shoot quite well. Post a pic of it if you have the opportunity.- Sheister
