Got a question for those that have rimfire .22's with magazines. Does yours, when you put upward pressure on the magazine, stop the bolt from closing? Be sure to include brand and model.

CZ 452 Scout and Varminter do not do it.

All no, or not that I've noticed (I don't tend to support any of them by the mag).

Just checked my Cooper 57M with both the 5-rd and 10-rds mags. Worked fine when pushed up from the bottom.

597 Rem doesn't, it sits against a bottom edged flange so it can't go higher.
