I'm looking for a good inexpensive scope for my new remington model 66? I would really like a bdc reticle? What are everyone's suggestions? I like the nikon p22 but would like something that costs slightly less if there is something out there? I will buy the p22 if there isn't anything similar for less? Thanks
Simmons 22 mag, on sale locally for $35, normally all of $45 or so... Straight 4X or 3-9X is an good scope for the money. The Weaver Classics can be had for around $120 on-line and are a serious step up... better than the Nikon 4X Rimfire by far. Main concern with a Nylon 66 is finding rings that will stay put and not creep which they are known for.

Bal, I have been using Nikon's P-22 2-7 BDC 150 for 6 months' now and the PROSTAFF 3-9 BDC 150 for 2 years. Love em both! Let me assure you it has nothing to do with my working with Nikon Sport Optic's either. If I didn't believe in the product's I wouldn't promote them. I have the 2-7 on some 22LR AR's and the 3-9 on my Ruger 10/22.

Drop me a note if you have any question's. Just a FYI, there's a sale going on right now on the PROSTAFF 4-12 BDC scope. Bigger then you wanted but $50 off right now.
