Anyone familiar with this model? It's been discontinued or possibly the predecessor to the Short Mag series.

Supposedly it had a real critical eye placement issue.
I've had one on a Kimber 82 for about 15 years and never noticed any eye placement issues with it. Eye relief is about 3 inches at 12 power and exit pupil is sufficient even in the field. This is the second one I've had, lost the first one in a fire. I would buy another.
I've got one on a Kimber Hunter. It's a great scope, eye relief is generous on mine. The AO is quite stiff, that's my only complaint.
I ve owned 2 of them so far. Good scope for the money, and great on a sporter.
I looked through the fixed 6x version of this today and it had no eyebox issues whatsoever. I don't understand how the guy at Chuck Hawks' website had such trouble with this scope.
