Seriously thinking of getting a Brno peep sight setup for my CZ 452 Trainer. Being the factory sights will not work for my eyes. Tried it yesterday at the range at 50 yd and it was not working for my eyes. Don't want to go the scope route in a .22.
A peep sight will definitely work better than standard open sights for you. The closer you can mount the rear sight to your eye, the better it will work.
Thanks for the tip. I'm going to order one from "Denny" over at RFC. Thinking of getting a adjustable Gehmann Iris for it a .5-3.0 MM.
I've got one of Denny's BRNO sights (came with a gun I bought) but haven't hardly shot it. It is bulky but fine for paper targets. If you are thinking more for plinking or even hunting there are Tech Sights and the NECG rimfire peep sights. Both require a higher (than factory, Tech sights has one) front sight.

Mostly I shoot mine with either a Weaver 4X or 2-7X rimfire Scope... though the irons are fun.

You should give the brooks Ghost Ring rear replacement blade a try if you like the factory iron sights. Brooks no longer is selling CZ stuff, have to look around over at the CZ forum at RFC to see who has them now... they run around $18 a blade and there are four different hole diameters. One is on the Trainer pictured below.
