I'm getting very frustrated with finding rings. I've read that the Burris with the plastic inserts fit. I bought some, sure don't look like the fit to me, no matter which clamp I use. Anyone else have any luck? Can I see some pics of the rings guys are using?
Which CZ model do you have? The Americans use standard 3/8" rings but the others use 11mm rings. I am assuming your problem is with the dovetail base clamp and not the fit of the scope in the rings.

Lots of folks use what you have and find them adequate. Here is another option that might offer a better fit. Folks use these in either 11mm or 3/8" depending on rifle model and the Burris Signature Zee rings which are Weaver bases.

I've got Warne rings on mine but I'm not sure of the model or even if they still make them. Mine will adjust to fit either size rail.

ask slg888 stoney, He told me to get some from brownells, and they fit perfect. Just not sure which ones they were. Did you check with Talley/

Set your calipers to MM, measure the grooves, and then order Leupolds. I used mediums on my 453 for the 3-9 EFR. I think mine are 13 MM, but I'm old and forget stuff.

Some of those guys on RFC seem to think the more crap they can stick between the scope and the rifle, the better. I lean toward simple.

Millets have well on both types of recievers for me
I have a set of 3/8" Leupold mediums I would sell for $40.00 shipped.

I have a set of Warne 7.3/22 mediums that I used on a 452 Trainer that worked very well with a Nikon 3-9x40 scope. Would be great for your FS. Sold the Trainer. Will sell the Warne rings $30 shipped. They look new. Pics if needed

Bought some B Square clamp-on Weaver style bases, problem solved on the 455. They clamped firmly on the metric dovetail, then installed Z rings on the bases.

These..^^^^ I have a set on my 455 American using a Leupold VXII 3x9.

I used the 7.3 RINGS by Warne/Brownells on my CZ. They have double the hardware as the 7.3/22 and the clamp is strong enough to hold on a 795 (semi) and not slip.

Stay the pfuqq away from any/all rings that mount a dovetail, less recoil stop. Absolute dog schit way to affix glass.

Do yourself some favors, schitcan that notion all together and do yourself some favors. Go DIP 25MOA extended 1913 rail, for both greater ring spacing and the much increased interface betwixt glass/receiver harmony.

I've broken the dog schit CZ rings...the DIP isn't going any pfhuqqing where I do not wish. Hint.

[Linked Image]

Annie 54 interface,if only to illustrate that the concept is well engineered,to stay the pfhuqq put. Understatement...as I flog on schit a smidge. Hint.

CZ 452 interface.

[Linked Image]

Between the rail and the copious erector latitude...750yds+ is a breeze to arrange.

[Linked Image]

If/when you are mounting rings, less cross slots and directly to a dovetail, you are arranging a failure and to pay extry in order to coordinate same,is pretty pfhuqqing stupid as a minimum.

Hint.

Thank me later.................

Addendum:

DIP blows BKL outta the water,in both interface and mounting height,as well as ring spacing.

Though the BKL cantilever 27MOA is handy,in certain applications.

Swapping stocks is a breeze, but DIP still steals the show.

I drive some Talley's on various Springers and they of course walk...because they are not slotted. Hint.

I suggest taking notes and applying same.

I agree with the man that took a healthy schit.

DIP is all my CZ's or Anschitz will be wearing.

Rimfire Technolgies used to make a rail for the CZ dove-tail. It was not as flexible as the DIP for ring spacing but used the same set screw pattern and was rock solid. The DIP is an improved version of the RT. When I had my CZ, I don't think DIP was even making rails. With either, the set screws bite well into the receiver and the design just works.

The RT rail replaced 7.3/Brownells rings on my CZ. The 7.3/Brownells are no lightweights though. You can crank the shhit out of the clamp hardware. I used them on 22lr mini-slide hammers (semi-autos) and they don't move. They come with recoil lugs so its simple to mill a recoil slot in the receiver (dove-tail). Small file works too.

Not sure about the regular version of the 7.3 though (called 7.3/22). Only one screw per clamp.
