Wound up with a real nice Remington 541 s custom sporter, thinkin about selling it, prices of these are all over the place it seems. What is a realistic number I could expect to get for it?

I got 960.00 for mine with 3 extra mags. Rifle was 98%

Had 2 NIB Grice Wholesale specials one in heavy barrel and one sporter barrel with birds birch stocks that I sold for $2500.00 and this guy didnt dicker either

dang, guess I got a good deal on it, mine has two really small blemishes on the stock, metal is at least 98%

Miroku of Japan produced them for Browning and Winchester. I don't believe Browning owns them. Just contracts with them.

gemby prices have gone up

The 541S has been goin between $800 - $1000 for awhile now. The fact that a 541T went that high attests to the value these Remington rimfires hold.

I also would expect a lot more out of a Miroku production 52B whether Browning or Winchester than $500 - $650.

The problem is, nothing currently produced is matching the aesthetics, quality and accuracy of the old rimfires.

The CZ shoot great, but they're no 52B in quality. Seems the market is strong for a non-Anschutz .22LR rifle.

I posted on this forum about a year and a half ago about a 541-T I bought and how well it shoots for me.
I bought it at a small Montana Gunshow (Wisdom, Montana from a local guy.
If I recall correctly I paid either $350.00 or $375.00 for it -I can not retrieve my original post on that gun.
Can anyone help me with that?
But again I am just amazed by these sales and the prices these 22's bring.
Like some have inferred hereon - there are "better" made 22 Rifles than the 541-T's out there - but few shoot better/as well, is my observation.

800 for a nice 541s. I would buy 10 Japanese 52's for 650 Nib.

My Anschutz 54 sporters outshot the 541s significantly. I have owned 2 of them and they are very cool but do not compete in accuracy or build quality with an Anschutz.

I'm impressed with the prices on 541's. My pricing is about $200 low it seems or I'm about a year out of date. Just have not been following the market on them. The one that surprises me is the 541-T.

I guess the pricing on the 541-S is approaching the 547's now. I find that to be very interesting.

The Savage Mark II Classic (with walnut stock and 24" barrel) that has a similar look is another one that you will probably see get pretty pricey.
