I recently looked at a T-Bolt as I think they are pretty neat. My question is this - does the bolt smooth out/get slicker with use?

I have the T Bolt in .17 HMR and my bolt did smooth out after several cycles. Same thing with my CZ 455. Much better after a few rounds.

Yes they do...........
Yep. Mine is as smooth as a debarked poplar stick.

I just bought one and if I had seen the plastic trigger housing I would have passed.
It might be a shooter though.
I had one for about three days. Until the garish "gold" plated plastic trigger started to flake off. The store where I bought it, with a "no return" firearm policy was so horrified they refunded my money with no discussion. Sadly, even Browning is joining the great American "race to the bottom" of poor quality consumer goods.
