Anybody got one? Are they junk or worth having? Ive always wanted a single action just never found the money to pick one up but these are pretty cheap.
I've heard some folks have had good luck with them, but the one I bought was the worst p.o.s. I've ever dealt with. It's in operable now, hammer spring won't hit the shell with enough force to fire, and when it did shoot it hit so far left and low that it was practically useless.

It's so bad I couldn't even sell it, back when it did fire.
Mine is just fine. It's not a Ruger single six, but it's not at the single six price. The sights are fixed, not adjustable. For a knock around woods gun, it's just fine.

maddog
thats kinda what i expected. One day Ill get a single six ruger.
Wait intil you can afford a single-six, even a used one (ain't gonna wear out).
I sold my Single-Six, but kept the SS New Bearcat. It shoots to the sights and is very easy to carry. Spent a few bucks on a steel ejector rod housing that classes it up no end.
