He said something about accessibility to the trigger, but I never really got it. Odd, huh? The one major distraction on an otherwise fine rifle. Oh, and it begs for a Weaver RV-7 or the like.

Different for sure. With a little inletting a guy could put a bit of removable plexiglass there to keep out the dust

Maybe that would help. Shame, really. If he had stopped short of the "window" it would have been a marvelous personalization of his rifle.

I liked the stock until it got to the notch......
Maybe he is having issues with the mechanism used in the 550. They're a little different than other semi.22 rifles....
I'd like a stock like that on mine, except for the window cutout.
