Anyone here shoot a scope on a Henry lever gun and still have the rear sight installed? I'm trying to mount a 32mm objective lens on one and can't seem to find a set of rings that will clear the rear sight and hammer. Are "high" rings required? Remove the rear sights? Thanks.

I might be tempted to go to a straight tube scope. Most of the Leupolds can have the parallax changed to 50 yards if you are so inclined.

I simply removed the rear sight on mine. It serves no purpose once the scope is installed. Only takes 15 seconds with a hammer and punch to knock it out.
