Nice old full-size rifle - is it worth the $395 asking price?

[Linked Image]

Sorry, couldn't get any more pics, but the rest of the rifle is as nice as what you see here.

What do you think?
Is this a trick question?
I'd be all over it for that.
Not a trick question - I just don't know what these go for, although I've always wanted one.
$395 is a steal. Get it!
As stated above, GET IT!
Check it out to make sure it functions properly and doesn't have any issues with the crown or magazine tube, but that said $500 would be a "good" price for that rifle - $395 is a great price.
buy it and sell it to me for 450.00 :-)

Hopefully, that 39A has made it to your crib by now.
Waiting for a check to arrive. If it's still there by the time I get paid, it will be mine!
The M39 carbine and monte carlo were $80 in 1962.
At 3% they would be $372 now.

But those rifles are not going to appreciate at 3% like normal guns, guitars, and Gold. They are more like the snake Colt revolvers.

Expect to pay double for a nice old one ~~$750
Early Marlin 39's are great rifles, my college room mate and I shot a carload of Colorado prairie dogs with his 39.
