ATV, DCT trans with low range, rated to carry almost 200 pounds on rear rack, 100 on front. Tows 1,350. Motor is about 520 cc's. Not looking for a sporty machine as this would do work on our property and see hunting use.
Would appreciate any first hand info.

I have a 2021 Rubicon with the DCT and like it very much. I've used it twice in Colorado on some nasty trails and packing elk out. I use it on my camp property the rest of the time.

Pretty tough to go wrong with you want to use it for.

Just bought a 2024 and haven't even picked it up yet. This will be my 3rd Rubicon. I plan to use it for deer lease stuff and trail riding. I think you will be well suited with this machine.

Thanks Shortmag. Look forward to hearing how you like the 24. Right now I plan on buying one in the spring of 24.

Bought my wife a BN 2021/2022, can't remember which year, DCT, eveything except Power Steering option for snowplowing and farm use, she LOVES it! Do make sure your DCT software is updated upon delivery/under warranty, it's a costly dealer only fix, when updates are needed.
PS: For what it's worth, I wanted to go with the Griz for her, but dealer stock was low in Feb 2021/22, Ruby was best model on the floor at that time. Only because she's used to Yamaha Kodiak setup of our old machines.

I've had mine for a few months now. I hadn't been before and I am still NOT a fan of the DCT. Very jerky when shifting and at low speeds its seems like it doesn't know what gear it should be in. I only have 20 something miles on it and am considering selling it and going back to a Can am or Yamaha. I have no doubt it's a quality machine just like the several Honda's I have purchased before were however the DCT is just not for me.

Don't give up on the DCT, it's smooth as silk after break in and FULL Synthetic Oil change, handy as hell also. Like I said above, not until after the Software Update and going to full synthetic oil during break in, did it morph into super smooth machine.

From what I have read the transmission is the most and least liked thing about Honda.

Go with the manual foot shift no problems.

Decided to take the plunge and ordered one. The model (Deluxe) and color we wanted should be at the dealers in April. Added a Warn 2500 winch with the synthetic rope. I like the fact this machine has a higher tow rating and is also rated to carry almost 200 pounds on the rear rack.

Picked it up two weeks ago. Hasn't seen much use yet but I have noticed the trans shifts much smoother each time we use it. The wife absolutely loves it. She calls it her electric ATV as she said it is so smooth and quiet compared to the Brute Force. My plan is to buy a second ATV after we move and the Grizzly 700 with the winch and mud tires is my first choice. Like the Honda so much am considering a Rincon instead.

I would advise you to stay away from the Rincon, totally different animal from the Rubicon.
Do alot of research before you go that route.

Word is the Rincon is super-old technology and really shouldn't even be compared with the newer machines and the Rubicon.
