Motorcycle mechanic on forum? - 02/23/15
Hi all,
My son and I are working on a project bike and I could use someone with motorcycle wrenching experience to PM questions to periodically. we are working on a 1994 Kawisaki ZX-6E that has the notorious second gear issue and burns some blue.
I have a service manual and experience with cars (from many years ago though). We have the engine out and the crankcase split as of last night, revealing the transmission and bottom of the crank. I have watched a lot of youtube videos and read the service manual, but I still have a couple questions that are probably best answered via PM. If you have some time to help us out, let me know. Thanks.
