I've had grass exposed for over a month here. It's been white in the morning 3X this past week. Doesn't last though. The beach is ice-free, though!
I should be snow free by this Friday the way it has been melting. I have a little bit of green grass here and there where the snow melted earlier.
Remember to start equines out to eat that lush green grass for very short periods of time, then gradually build up over a week or so . These spring grasses and cool nights, the grass has a lot of sugars in it and is mostly water. This time of years is the time when most founder occurs.

Yep, after the snow melted we were blessed with daytime temps in the 60's - 70's.
Cant get out of the 40s here and didn't see any sunlight this year it seems. I don't have any thing to turn them out to yet.
I was just about snow free until last night
