lots of folks use brownings. i have a bud who won't own anything else. he kills deer, elk, hogs as good as the next man. my local gun store sells racks full of xbolts, and the gunsmith told me they are some of the most accurse rifles available today. if you're wanting one, i'd get the thing and not look back.

I bought an XBolt HCS. It’s nice. Will need a trigger spring though. The trigger isn’t horrible but needs some refinement even after adjustment. Accuracy wise it’s not lacking at all. First 3 on paper at 100 yards were touching. 3-9 Super Chicken on top.

I’ve have/had several. Very nice slick action and the plastic magazine works well.
All that I have shot, shot very well. I’d buy another without hesitation
