Hey fellas, those that have the Boyds Classic stock; how wide is the forend on the outside at sling swivel stud?

I asked Boyds and they said 1.25, that seems skinny to me considering their "A" measurement in 1.25"

The one I just measured was a smidge under 1 5/8 inch.
