I just got a new Leupold FX-2 4X ordered for my new 550/9.3X62. I plan on using the factory mounts until I find something better.

I need recommendations on low mount rings for the CZ. I am thinking about Talley?
I haven't used the Talleys but I originally put the
B-Square/Lynx low rings on my CZ 9.3. These are nice, sleek low mounting rings that worked perfectly with the Sightron 1.5-6x42 I originally had on this rifle. I later swapped to an I.O.R./Valdada 4x and was bummed when the CZ bolt handle wouldn't clear the eyepiece on the I.O.R. I went with the Warne medium rings for the new scope and they are not as sleek as the Lynx but they are hell-for-stout and work perfectly.

I have used the Talley rings on my CZ's and think they are the wonderful. They keep things nice and low. I have 550 FS rifles that have a little drop for better use with irons and the Talleys are great at keeping the scopes low for these rifles. That said, I now use an apeture on my 550FS in 9.3 and feel no need to go back to the 4x I had on it. I took a rear CZ ring and cut it off to use as a base for a ghost ring. I have also used the Warne rings and they are stout, but I did not like the heighth. I also tried the Burris rings which are ok, but med height so they put the 2x7 on the 6.5 up higher than I wanted as well. I am sold on Talleys and now use them on almost all rifles.

Thanks guys. I am waiting for my scope. I ordered it from Scheels here in Great Falls.
I have Leupold ringmounts on my CZ 9,3x62. Wouldn't change a thing.
