Had some health problems and then everything broke. I had to rebuild my water softener, replace the dehumidifier, fix 3 mowers and my Polaris gave up the fuel pump.
But I traded for a new deer rifle and it is a winner. I got the Savage Impulse in 6.5 Creedmore. I don't shoot far so it should be perfect. I broke the barrel in a little, shoot, clean but the barrel is so nice I wasn't getting much copper. Been using the 140 gr Hornady interlock and shot a 5 shot group at 100 yds that measures 3/8 inch. The barrel is heavy and it holds solid without shakes.
Give this one a look.

Welcome back!
I've heard good things about the Savage and of course everyone seems to be having good results with the 6.5 in general no matter what rifle it is shot out of.

I have a couple Savages in 6.5 Creed. Both are great shooters

I have always loved wood but Savage makes a great looking rifle. I have called them a "sleeper" for years because they shoot better then the prices would indicate. I sure wish I would have bought a 99 years ago. The 110 is a wonder too.
