I handled a Remington 700BDL in 375H&H Magnum today, and I noticed that the barrel had no address and was stamped 375H&H but no other markings. I figured custom shop or a very well done rebarrel. Any input?
Got any pics? Does it look like these???

sure dont Hanco. The rifle looked practically brand new, after doing some GB surfing it appears to be a Remington custom shop rifle
it looked like your rifle on the left but no cheek piece
On the ones I have, the only markings are the cartridge and a few have something like “Remington Custom Shop, Illion, NY” on the top of the barrel about half way to the muzzle. I think one of my centerfiire 40-XBs has an assembler’s mark on the left side of the barrel just in front of the receiver ring; others don’t. On some, the cartridge designation is tiny and others it’s more normal in size.

It sounds like the one you’re looking at a Custom Shop gun
It sound like rebarrel, Remington barrel would be marked
My two have nothing on barrels except very small caliber markings.

Is a C grade a custom shop rifle? They make D and F grades??

The only other markings will be proofs on the right side and perhaps a barrel date code after the chambering.

This is an example of a typical CS marking.

There is an “F” grade, 220 swift on Guns International. Look under Remington Custom Shop.
Wow, that F grade Swift is pretty
